“The shortest distance between ignorance and insight is a good story, well told.”Bob Tryanski
FIVE W’S IN REVERSE
Why should you care?
I’ve been telling stories since I was about five years old. Prior to that, from what I understand, my family and neighbors told stories about me. To hear them tell it, most of these were horror stories intended to discourage others from breeding.
I was a difficult child, but once I learned how to capture the attention of others and to hold my own with a good story, I think my course in life was set. It took me forty years to figure that out, but now, dear reader, you get to reap the benefits of the wisdom and insight I have gathered by doing what I love without really paying attention.
I Wish I Could Tell You is my simple attempt to revisit the chapters in our lives that don’t make sense and find stories in those moments that lead to a better understanding of those moments.
