Bob Tryanski has been recognized by a wide variety of organizations for outstanding contributions to the development of leadership, service, and citizenship in America’s youth.  In 2009, Bob founded the “Keep It Campaign,” a national effort to increase civic engagement in America’s secondary schools.  “Keep It!” strives to make volunteer opportunities more accessible and meaningful for young people and to provide student leaders with training and opportunities to apply their leadership skills as social entrepreneurs.

In it’s inaugural project—The Campaign for Ivory Park—students from more than sixty schools in seven states have joined forces to “act locally, reach globally” by building a comprehensive community center in Ivory Park, one of the poorest townships in South Africa.  The students’ efforts have built a library and two kitchens,  sustained an eye clinic and supported a day care center that is now a self-sufficient business. For it's second project, "Keep It!" will focus on overcoming teen hunger in America.
